Amelia Daniel

Advisor (Bar Application Pending)

Biography

Amelia Daniel is a fourth generation lawyer, following in the footsteps of her great-grandfather, Paul Webb Sr. (who was the equivalent of the District Attorney in Atlanta for years), her grandfather, Paul Webb Jr. (founder of Webb & Daniel, the predecessor to Webb Daniel Friedlander), and her mother, Laurie Webb Daniel of Webb Daniel Friedlander. Carrying on the family tradition is a natural calling, as she was born with that “law gene.”

Amelia serves as an Advisor to the firm while her bar application is pending. She brings to the firm not only a keen intellect–having earned a dual major in college in Philosophy and History of Mathematics and Natural Science, followed by a MSc in Philosophy of Science–she offers a world view–having lived abroad in Switzerland, England, and Ireland. Moreover, while in law school at the University of Chicago, she developed a special interest in mental health advocacy. Amelia is a fine addition to the WDF appellate practice through her excellent research and analysis skills and ability to zero in on weak spots, which is an invaluable contribution to the moot courts that the firm conducts in preparation for every oral argument it handles.

Ms. Daniel also has a strong sense of community, and provides support to various charitable organizations, including the International Rescue Committee. She also loves children of all ages and pets of all types.
